Daniel Thought There Had Been a Misunderstanding
He assumed Megan meant the photos with her immediate family.
Parents.
Siblings.
Grandparents.
That made sense.
Every wedding had different photo combinations.
Daniel said:
“I’m sure there are lots of different groups.”
Lily nodded.
“I know.”
But she still didn’t look convinced.
Daniel walked with her toward the garden where the photographer was setting up.
Megan was already there in her wedding dress.
Her parents stood beside her.
Her sister and brother-in-law were nearby.
Daniel approached.
“Hey, what’s going on with the pictures?”
Megan smiled.
“We’re just organizing everybody.”
“Lily said she’s not in the family photos.”
Megan glanced toward Lily.
“Not these ones.”
Daniel still wasn’t alarmed.
“Okay. Which ones is she in?”
Megan’s smile faded slightly.
“We’ll do some with her later.”
Daniel looked at her.
“Why later?”
Megan lowered her voice.
“Can we not do this right now?”
